The Society is a registered charity, whose objects are to promote friendship and understanding between the peoples of Britain and Spain through knowledge of each other's customs, institutions, history and way of life. It is a non-political organisation, and membership of the Society is open to people of any nationality who have an interest in and a love of Spain and her culture.
The Society's President is HE the Spanish Ambassador. The Chairman of the Trustees and the Executive Council is Sir Stephen Wright KCMG.
