A varied programme of social and cultural activities is arranged, giving members an opportunity to meet and discuss matters of mutual interest. Such events may include meetings addressed by speakers with specialised knowledge of various aspects of Spain, wine tastings, concerts of Spanish music, and visits to exhibitions and places of special interest. There is an Annual Dinner, or Luncheon, usually attended by H E the Spanish Ambassador, a Summer outing, and a Christmas Party. Cultural visits to Spain are also arranged from time to time.

Lectures on Domenico Scarlatti: an Italian in Iberia, El Greco, Wellington’s Campaigns in the Peninsula, and the Geology of Spain.

Wine Tastings.
Talks on walking in the Spanish Pyrenees and Spanish food.
Visit to the Columbus Print Exhibition at the British Museum.
Private visit to the Wallace Collection.
Tours of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Whitehall, The British Library, and the Lord Chancellor’s Residence in the Palace of Westminster.
A musical evening at the Parrot Club and an evening of Flamenco.
Flamenco and Fireworks at Kenwood House.
