Sotheby’s are offering twenty-eight Spanish paintings in their sale of European Paintings which will be held in London on 22 November 2011. Artists featured in the sale include Hermenegildo Anglada-Camarasa, Raimundo de Madrazo, Julio Romero de Torres, Santiago Rusiñol, Joaquín Sorolla and Ignacio Zuloaga. Mostly from private collections, one of the highlights is Sorolla’s Boys in the sea, Valencia beach and Portrait of Madame Souty reclining on a sofa.
