We hope you are well and had a very enjoyable summer. We would like to remind you our upcoming events this fall.
- Please note the final date and time for the Society’s AGM 2011: October 25th at 6.00 pm – Luis Vives Room at Spanish Embassy, 39 Chesham Place, London, SW1X 8SB. We will be introducing our new Principal Supporter, Bupa, and we will also hear from candidates who have benefited from Anglo-Spanish Society Scholarships. Read more about the event here.
- October 27th at 6.30 pm – Book Presentation ‘A pilgrim in Spain’ by Christopher Howse – Luis Vives Room at Spanish Embassy, 39 Chesham Place, London, SW1X 8SB. Our Vice-Chairman, Mr Jimmy Burns will be in conversation with the author Christopher Howse. Read more about the event here.
- November 9th at 7pm – Wine and Cheese Tasting networking event at Bacchanalia. We will be tasting 5 wines from different regions of Spain, paired with 5 Spanish cheeses. An enologist from Bacchanalia will run the wine tasting and ‘Ñ’ will give details about the cheeses. The event will include a blind tasting of one of the wines and a small prize for the team that best guesses the origin and grape! Read more about the event here.
- December 13th at 7pm - Christmas Party at Canning House sponsored by Freixenet. One of the highlights of our social calendar!! Join us for festive cheer, fabulous tapas, wine and great raffle prizes. Tickets are £30 members and £40 non-members.
